Azaleas

I went to the west side of Hallasan last weekend with Joel, Amy, and their new co-worker to see the azaleas. The flowers weren't quite out at full bloom but should be great this weekend. Since there weren't many pictures of flowers to be taken, I got some pictures of some sweet t-shirts.

This guy was warm.

Hello Dan: Enjoyed reading your blog.
My wife and I are interested in teaching ESL in Jeju. Could you tell me a bit about the experience. Who you work for? How is the pay and do they look after you etc?
Was also wondering what the weather is at different times of the year? Is it like Vancouver and usually raining or overcast in the witner months? What about the summer?
If you could help me out I would appreciated it.
    Thanks.
    Doug

  2. Doug, Good to hear from you. I think the blog speaks well about my experience on the island. As for my school, the fact that I stayed for my second year also speaks for itself.

Winters in Jeju hover around freezing and summers are hot and humid. There's a rainy season just like all of Korea for a couple months in the summer where it at least drizzles a bit nearly every day.

    Good luck on your search!
